Upgrading to 1.1.1

Hey guys,

Well I currently have 1.0.2 out of the box with installer.app etc. In hopes of finding a program that I can use to install jailbreak being a coding and hacking novice. So if I uninstall all the programs and installer itself by just uninstalling it on my phone, will that clear me up so that when I upgrade I wont be bricked or do I absolutely need to restore?

What do you want to accomplish exactly? Just an upgrade to 1.1.1?

You need iNdependence...It's really easy for people like us with no hacking knowledge.

I used this link for my out of the box 1.1.1 phone...

In my case I had to downgrade to 1.0.2 then jailbreak and activate, then upgrade then jailbreak and activate again...
