Upgrading to 10.9 from 10.8.

I am currently running Mountain Lion. I want to upgrade to Mavericks, but do not want Yosemite due to specific requirements of done of the software I need to run. Is there any way to do this? I have access to computers running Mavericks but they are all images via netboot at work.

Unless you previously purchased it when it was in the App Store, you will have to call Apple and ask for a download code for 10.9 so that you can purchase and download it.
