whats the best way for me to update?

You can only update to iOS 5.0.1 if you have your SHSH blobs. Use TinyUmbrella to check if you have your blobs. If you don't, you can only update to iOS 5.1.

You must have saved the 5.0.1 hash and APTicket files to go to 5.0.1
Without them, you can only go to 5.1

Why would you accuse him of that? It's his first post so either you know him from some other forum or you're just assuming.

The mod just closed one of his thread because his cydia crashed after installing installous. I clicked his user name and got to this thread.

Then you were spot on correct :D

And of course when we check his post history from this thread, all we see is this one post (since the other thread has gone poof)

I wonder the same. When i clicked his user name now, this is the only thread he created but when i check my history from Chrome, i see a link from him and when i click it then it will say there is no such thread. Weird. Does mod completely remove the thread that they close?

I believe once the thread is deleted, we can no longer access it when checking "other posts"
