I am currently have jailbroken iphone 4s 5.0.1. I want to upgrade to 5.1.1 once jailbrake has been release. How can i upgrade with losing all my tweak and customization. I have upgrade once in past but i had to install all the tweak and customization one by one again. is there any way i can backup current image and then restore from that image once i jailbreak to 5.1.1

There are already about 5 posts alone that are new and at the top of iPhone Hacks thread that will answer this question:rolleyes:

This.

OP - search first. And to answer your question, there are tools like PkgBackup that "save" your Cydia tweaks, etc.

I always re-install fresh, though, since some of your old tweaks might not be updated to work with the new firmware. Read each package's update history and make sure it's compatible with the new iPSW so you don't get any bugs.
