So I have been thinking about upgrading the hard drive in my 2010 MacBook pro 13" 2.4 GHz and I was wondering what draws 7200RPM HDDs have. I am looking specifically at this Western Digital: http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-2-5-Inch-Internal-WD5000BEKT/dp/B003TOE4PQ/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_2
Has anyone specifically used this drive, or another 7200RPM drive in their MacBook pros? Does it make the battery life shorter, or make the computer run hotter or louder?
I would like the speed boost, but I wouldn't want to compromise for everything else. Any help is greatly appreciated.
