Hi Everyone. I am upgrading my mac for the first time to a new Macbook Pro but was concerned about non-apple programs that I have paid for (Photoshop CS4, Notebook, etc) that are on my soon to be old Macbook. I know that files and pictures will transfer but how do I go about getting the apps over? I know this is a basic question, but I just want to know how others do it. Thanks:apple:

Those applications will transfer as well if you use the Migration Assistant (which is the included software that will ask you if you want to move your files over from the other computer the first time you start up your new one). The only trick is a few programs may ask you to re-enter your serial number, but that's somewhat rare. Shouldn't be a big deal anyways.
