I have the 2008 mac pro and am planning to upgrade to the radeon 4870 video card but I was wondering if it will cause any problems when using windows in bootcamp?
Will I need to reinstall windows in bootcamp and all of the windows software after putting in the radeon card?
Will the radeon card give snow leopard a better performance boost than keeping the 8800gt card currently in my mac pro?
I am primarily interested in video editing.

It shouldn't cause issues. Just uninstall the old drivers for your last video card. Boot into windows and install new ATI catalyst drivers.
It is a pretty painless process.

Thanks for the quick reply.
