Upgrading to iOS 16.2 wiped out dozens of Photos albums. WTF

Just noticed that after I upgraded to iOS 16.2 and macOS 13.1 DOZENS of albums have been deleted in the Photos app. The photos are still there, but the albums have been completely deleted.

My god this is so ****ing annoying.

Literally DOZENS of albums are gone.

That's distressing. What is the model of your iOS 16.2 device?

Ugh! That’s really horrible! Have you talked to Apple Support? I feel your pain. I put a lot of time into organizing my photos and that would be a real gut punch. Please keep us posted.
