There's no point in "upgrading" to the official version, because the GM and the official version is the exact same thing.

And most of the time they're the exact same build. However, every once in a while a show stopping big is discovered that will result in a new GM build.

The GM is already on the iPhone 5s that are being shipped from China right now. If a bug is discovered now, they'd have to release a 6.01 update to fix it, so anybody who installed the GM could just update to that release.

Or to put it another way, I've been installing the GM ever since iOS 2.0, and never had any problem with just running with it until the next .01 or .1 update as released.
