iPod touch upgrading to itunes 9.2

I have a ipod touch 3g version 3.1.2 and I used blackra1n. I want to upgrade to itunes 9.2 but I want to know if it is safe?

Will it brick my ipod?
Will i have to re jailbrick my ipod?
Will i lose anything?

Perfectly safe. If you want to use Spirit to jailbreak after updating to 9.2, then it won't allow you. There is, I believe, a fix, but you'd have to check around on google first.
