Hi, everyone. it is my first post here! yay
I have been using my mac book pro 10.5.8 for couple years now and am very happy with it. I am looking to upgrade to Snow leopard(I know its way late but never felt the need to upgrade until now) and was wondering if I do, would I have to repartition the HD for bootcamp? I currently have the HD partitioned for bootcamp and I dont want to lose it after upgrading to Snow leopard.

When you install SL, it will ask you which partition you want to install it to. Just choose your Mac partition and you will be fine. It most likely won't even let you select your Windows partition, so making an error will be difficult. After install Snow Leopard, update Windows to the latest version of BootCamp if you haven't done so already.

That said, always back you data in Windows just in the case.

they are on different partitions, so installing SL on one will have no effect on the other partition
