Just ordered the family pack to upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard, but I would like to install it from zero. I was wondering what will happen with the apps like iLife '08 that came with Leopard. And how I'm supposed to make a clean install?

Thanks.

Choose Erase and Install from the SL disc. You'll have to install iLife from the gray restore discs that came with your Mac.

Second that! I am curious to see what happens to my ilife '08

It's not going to be a surprise ... if you choose to Erase and Install, you'll have to reinstall iLife from the original source, whether it be the gray restore discs or a separate iLife disc. iLife is not a part of the OS.

If you choose to upgrade or Archive and Install, then iLife will be there, along with all your other apps and data.

Thanks Tallest Skil and r.j.s, that answered all my question.
