Greetings. I have no doubt this same thread has been started many times. But, I need some specific advice. I am upgrading my 13" MBP 2011 to SSD. I will back-up all of my documents, and other critical data to a USB Flash Drive. Here is where I need some advice: Should I just install the SSD out of the box and use the original "Snow Leopard" Disc that came with the Mac to do a clean install, then do the upgrade to Mavericks?.....Or, can I get Mavericks on a USB Flash Drive and install from there? Basically, what is the best way to migrate to an SSD?

I greatly appreciate all the great advice I can get from experienced people on here. ( I am a tech guru, just have not done this particular thing before :) )

Install the new SSD, install your current OS X, then get Mavericks thru the Apps Store.
