Im thinking about upgrading from the stock 80gb 5400rpm drive in my Mac Mini to a Corsair Extreme Series 64GB SSD (X64) for a performance boost. Is it worth paying £150 for the performance increase or should I just buy a cheap 320GB WD Scorpio Black 7200rpm Hard Drive? Im not really bothered about space as I have external hard drives.

Thanks,
Mike.

If you have the money, and can make the space sacrifice, it's probably the best upgrade you can get for your machine. Have a look at the G2 Intel SSDs though. They are much less expensive than the G1's were because of the new manufacturing process. You can get an 80GB G2 intel for under $250 (between the intel and corsair for the same money, and more space on the intel, it's a no brainer.)
