upgrading to the new powerbook screen w/o a new powerbook =P

does anyone think it would be possiable to upgrade the screen on my 1.33ghz pwerbook 17" to one of the new powebook screens. would apple allow it, or would i have to go aftermarket?

It's probably near impossible. Not even worth considering IMO.
