Upgrading? (UK)

Ive never upgraded before so i have no idea. Im on a 4S at the moment.
When i upgrade to a 5S, will i have to pay an upfront cost of some kind?
Or will they just give me the upgrade for free?
Im thinking there must be some sort of fee but probably reduced as its an upgrade? Im on Tesco Mobile if that helps?

I'm pretty sure Tesco Mobile don't have the 5S at launch, and it will therefor be a while before they do offer it (if they offer it). The price for the upgrade depends on the contract length/ tariff you take out. They may offer the 5C sooner though... :)

My upgrade isn't actually till January so ill be fine :) they are definitely offering it because its on their website, and ahh ok :) thanks!
