Hi,

I have a Macbook aluminum unibody from late '08 :apple:, and I recently upgraded my RAM from 2GB to 4.

As far as my knowledge goes, the graphics card that is in my MB, a nVIDIA GeForce 9400M, uses part of the system's RAM for VRAM, normally 256 MB. Now that I have upgraded, will the system automatically allocate more RAM to the graphics card since more is available? If not, is there some kind of utility where I can force it to?

Thanks,
Sean

It can only use 256MB in OS X. In Windows, it can use 512MB I think. You wouldn't notice the difference though

The most it can ever have it 256Mb. It will use this much if you have 1Gb of ram or 8Gb and there is no way to make it use more.
