I was wondering if anyone has had any success on upgrading their wifi card on their Mid 2012 non-retina MBP to a wifi ac card. I would like to do this to my machine and am having a hard time finding info. There is a merchant that sells them for $150 ouch.

I replaced one before on an 2008 aluminum MacBook Pro so I'm not new to the process. I bought it on ebay for about $80 last time and it was worth it for me because on not having no USB dongles sticking out.

What is it do you think I should do to successfully get one installed. If anyone has any resources to point to me, let me know. Also I want to upgrade the 2008 aluminum MacBook Pro too to wireless AC possibly too. We'll see. Thanks in advance.
