Upgrading wireless card

I have a new Time Capsule and was wondering if I can put an 'n' wireless card in my 1½ year old MacBook? Am I limited to buying an Apple card or are there other options?

He's talking about wireless "N" draft. Faster then 802.11g which is standard.

Thanks for the help. I checked and I am supposed to be able to install the update, but I get a 'this update cannot be installed on this volume warning'. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook, so I guess I'm confused.

Could it already be installed, and how would I find out if it is? According to Network Utility and System Profiler I should be able to upgrade. I'm getting plenty fast DL's so it isn't important. I'll keep messing around.
