Upgrading with AT&T unlimited plan

Here is my situation. Since someone on my family plan used my upgrade for their phone I am using a different line to buy the 4S at discount but will be activating it on my line. Will this cause any issues with my grandfathered unlimited data plan? Thanks in advance!

I have the same question, but from what I've read I don't think it changes anything they basically just do a direct swap. I'm not sure though.

Ask AT&T. Complex questions about plans are always answered better directly from the carrier.

You have to be on the same line to get unlimited, my brother wasn't eligible to get discounted rate, so he tried to use my mom's number it didn't give him the option of selecting unlimited data for $30.00
