I was wondering something. For the people who have upgraded from Panther to Tiger - and I don't mean an archive and install, I mean a real upgrade - was there any performance loss reported compared to people who did a clean install or an archive and install?
I'm asking this because I want to buy my notebook before Leopard but I need to be sure the upgrade procedure will work fine. Microsoft's is notoriously broken.
