upload a picture

Whenever I try to upload a picture to an online website, the browser closes. I use Safari
When I use Google Chrome, it closes and asks me to restart my computer.
I can upload other files like videos easily but I can't upload any pictures at all.
I don't think the problem is that my browser and stuff are outdated because it always runs smoothly and it loads fast and all.
