Upload a powerpoint presentation to youtube

I am looking to put a powerpoint presentation on youtube. I looked up how to do it and I read i must convert the format to another format that youtube accepts. The problem however is that the programs that convert the files to format youtube likes is only for windows. Does anyone know how to do it on a mac?

If you have a screen-recording program like Snapz Pro X then you could screencapture the presentation and upload it to YouTube.

If you have Keynote, it can open PowerPoint files and convert presentations to QuickTime, when can then be uploaded to YouTube.

If you're not tied to youtube as the location, you might also check out slideshare which is designed for sharing powerpoint/keynote presentations. Here is the url:

export it as a quicktime file>then export to imovie> then upload to youtube.
