In my head
I have a powerbook running Panther, and for work I have the job now of updating a website with photos and text every day. All very interesting, except the web site is written on Frontpage.

From what I can gather, Frontpage doesnt really exist on Mac land, Dreamweaver doesnt do Frontpage, so it seems I have to look at turning the Mac into a PC and working with MS stuff on a Windows partition. I need a few pointers please.

This is all an experiment so I am not looking to spend a red cent on this project till I know it is going to work. So far I have found and installed virtual pc 2.1 with Windows 95 and MS office 2000 with frontpage. This is running via OS9. All very retro and not the way I want to use a Mac, but to be fair it all seems pretty snappy, ugly as sin, but snappy. A couple of questions.

Anti virus. If I install virex 6.1 on the Windows/OS9 partition I am assuming I will be covered?

uploading to the web page. My boss is the windows boy and he is going to set up ftp. I dont really know what that means, but I was just reading that it is a bit dodgy for security? Is there a "safe" way of uploading files without turning my Powerbook into a security swiss cheese?

Are there any other issues anyone can see I am going to have to overcome. For instance, can I create the pages in Frontpage, drag them onto the desktop and upload them in a more mac way?

Thanks
