I recently had to restore my iPhone and all my music download to my phone. How do I remove some of them from my phone and store them to the iCloud ? I already have enabled I cloud but there still on my phone

Either turn on Optimize Storage via settings/music on your iPhone, or go into your music library on your iPhone and select songs, playlists, or albums and remove the download. Remove download keeps the item in your library but removes the actual file from your device. Be careful about deleting from library as that removes the song from your library completely.

Thanks. Its just giving me an option to delete from library. Not seeing the option to remove download?

If you are an Apple Music or iTunes Matching subscriber, go into music on your iPhone and select the album. Then, at the top portion of your iPhone screen, touch the 3 dots in the red circle. Then tap remove, then select remove download. If you are not a subscriber of these services and are just syncing with your computer, then this option may not be available.

When I click on an album on my phone it give me an option to "download". However is appears to be already downloaded. It gives me this option on every album I have yet it shows I have 162gb of music downloaded?

Yes not using Apple Music or iTunes

So, to store them in iCloud, I think you will have to subscribe to either Apple Music or iTunes Match. Someone else may have another idea, but all my music is in iCloud via Apple Music, even the music I owned before subscribing (Apple Music includes iTunes Match which uploads your already purchased music to iCloud).

I don't think the music app on iPhone has the ability to look at another location for music other than downloaded onto the phone or via iCloud.
