Uploading Pictures

Hey guys,
I have an iPhone and a Macbook. I just want to know if there is a way to upload pictures from my iPhone onto my Mac w/o uploading the whole camera roll. So is it possible to upload certain pictures or is the only way to go about uploading is by uploading the all pics every time?

You can just upload the ones you select. Attach your iPhone and open iPhoto. Choose your phone and just select the ones you want to import.

You can use iPhoto like andylyon described. Or you can use some 3rd party app like PhoneView.
