Hey guys,

I'm going to be at an Apple Community event this year (saurik is the keynote speaker & p0sixn1nja is there) and I need to be able to get my videos off my camcorder, attach multiple videos together and upload to my YouTube channel. Now, I am unsure on whether to take my MacBook Pro or not, I don't want it getting stolen. What is the best way to secure it? I get Wi-Fi at the event and I think there will be a table in the YouTubers corner where I will be, if that helps.

Or is there some sort of device where you can plug in a usb (from my camcorder) and then attach the videos and upload them through wifi?

Also could the camera connection kit for my iPad 1 work with my camcorder, it's a Canon Legria HF R18. And can it transfer videos? And what formats will it transfer? Also what editing software for iPad is there to attach videos and upload?

Thanks, I wasn't sure what section to put it in but as that is my Mac I included it here.
