Right now I am surfing the web while uploading a video to a video hosting web, then I felt burning hot on my top-left corner of the keyboard, other parts are warm as well, I am wondering if this is normal? Why uploading video generate so much heat? I guess it keeps reading the video from HDD, is my 7200RPM HDD causing the problem(compared to 5400RPM or even SSD)?

Thanks!

It's because you're READING a large amount of data, and also WRITING a large amount of data, simultaneously, so naturally, within a poorly-ventilated device (like a laptop), it will head up.
