If I turn on caps lock key and I decide to type some letter in lowercase, in Windows I can press shift while caps lock is always turned on while in OSX It doesn't work.

Can I type lowercase letters while caps lock is turned on?

Apparantly not it seems. I could be wrong of course..... probably am.
Why not just press the caps lock key again and return back to normal?

According to another forum, it's only possible on a French Keyboard Layout!??

Bonne chance mon ami

No. While the Windows shift key operates more like a toggle, the Mac shift key types only uppercase characters. It has always been this way. Because I grew up with Macs, the Windows behavior bothers me and I have to adjust when I’m using Windows. You will just have to adjust for the Mac.
