I'm just kind of curious as to how their operations work. It's amazing how much they can do in such little time sometimes. I live in the west Georgia area and my device JUST arrived in Forest Park(just south of Atlanta near the airport).

Is this the shipment for all deliveries to be made in Georgia? And the trucks go out for delivery at 7-8 am right? That only leaves about 6 hours to sort everything and get them out to the local centers. But I guess that's why Apple chooses them!

i think so, im not really sure how the ups system works.

----------

my delivery status says by 10:30am, wat about u?

do the shipments go to another hub, or do they go to a ups store?

Usually each decent-sized city has their own "hub". So theoretically unless you live in the Clayco area, your order should be going to another hub

----------

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Was getting a little freaked out for a minute there.

I'm located right outside of campus and there's a hub literally like 1/4 mile down the road. The man in brown that comes to my complex said this morning that that hub would be delivering them tomorrow.

Mine is headed from forest park to my local hub that delivers from. In transit to local delivery hub since 2:49am eastern.

P.S. use packagemapping.com to get a more up to date scan in than what ups usually shows.

mine arrived in forest park too. Pretty ghetto area if u ask me lol

It is kinda cheaper to have a hub in Forrest Park than in the middle of Buckhead.

UPS knows what they are doing and do not forget that FedEx will be helping out today, too!

Apple actually uses both FedEx and UPS. Mine is coming FedEx, and according to my tracking information it made it to the sort facility at 10:49 PM last night. In South Florida, FedEx has better delivery schedules than UPS, IMO.
