So UPS lost/stole my iPhone. Was supposed to be delivered Friday but didn't make it. I had it held for pickup at the CC over the weekend. Called UPS this morning and they said come and get it. Drove 30 minutes to the CC, waited for 45 minutes while they looked for it. They came back out, saying bad news and handed me a phone number in China to call to have them start a lost claim. Corporate UPS claims the package is at the distribution center but the CC tells me that it never made it from Louisville. I don't know who to believe.
I called Apple and they said they'd start an investigation. They have no idea when I can get a replacement. Shipping times for 12ProMax, 256GB, PB is middle of December. That's beyond ridiculous, considering that I woke up at 5am to preorder. Any tips or advice? I just want my phone before I leave for Thanksgiving at our cabin on Saturday.
