I have a Windows PC and a Mac Mini, and looking for a decent UPS device. It needs to have space for at least 4 batt/surge ports and 4 surge only ports.
What are your recommendations? Additionally, when it comes to VA/Watts and such, what 'size' unit is recommended? Thanks

Around here it is often recommended to choose a UPS with (pure) sinewave and compatibility to active PFC PSUs.
I followed the advice and picked one from CyberPower.

Only you can answer the size/wattage number. Accumulate all of the devices's worst case power consumption (including screen/s) and add a savety margin. For the Mac mini you can simply take the wattage of the PSU (as listed in the device specs).
For other devices either take the power rating of the data sheet or (what I prefer) manually get the power consumption with a measuring device during stress test.

EDIT: I went with a CyberPower PFC Sinewave Series CP900EPFCLCD (900VA / 540W) (EU version).
Driving a 2013 MacPro (450W PSU) and an Eizo CS2730 (70W max). Actual normal total power consumption ~140W.

I have the CyberPower GX1500U for several years now, and highly recommend it. It's very reliable. It's a 1500VA / 900W UPS with Sinewave.

With everything on sipping close to 500w (700w+ when gaming), I get like 15 minutes to properly shut down my Desktop PC, Synology NAS, and etc. I can keep my modem and router working for about 130 minutes those two use less than 100w.

I live in a co-op building. Which has it's own tiny power plant. It's not uncommon for us to get blackouts (usually about 20min) in hot summers when everyone is home. So this UPS has really proved itself.

I'm thinking about getting the same one or a smaller on for my gaming consoles and TV.
