I received an email notification yesterday that my MB2 Air has shipped. UPS tracking says “Clearance in Progress” with a delivery date of this Wednesday, July 27. I checked my cc statement online today and Apple charged me for my MB2 Air on June 21 but it now shows as of today (July 24) they have refunded me the exact same amount. I’m worried my order has somehow gotten canceled although I’ve received no email notification and my order still shows in good standing and as “shipped” through the Apple Store app and online. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for any input or opinions!

Could be they had put a hold on that amount and the hold has expired before the transaction was finalized. Just treat it as if it's gone and it'll reflect properly soon enough.

Thanks. I hope this is the case. Never had this happen before with any order from Apple.
 
Had something similar but the CC was eventually charged properly a day or two after clearance. This was for shipment to Canada.
 
Your fine you saw the pre auth fall off it will come back as a charge probably in the next day or 2
