Is everyone getting the " UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." message when you put in the tracking code?

I would have thought it would be DIP'd or HIP'd (Scanned by the UPS Depot or Hub) by now... especially if they are delivering tomorrow...

Can anyone actually see tracking information on the UPS site for their iPad?

My problem is that I haven't received any update with UPS tracking since it left China a few days ago. What's with this?

Hi, i was in the same boat as you but found a way to get it to work on UPS.

1. Go to the UPS uk site and click on tracking on the navbar.
2. Click on "Track by Reference".
3. Select shipment type as "Package"
4. The Shipment Reference is the apple order number, looks something like this "W#########", enter that into the space provided.
5. You don't need to enter anymore info, only these two, leave the dates as they are, dont put in postcode or anything else.
6. Click "Track"
7. Success! - If it still doesnt work, it hasnt been added to the system yet, and just be patient.

Thanks--I followed that just now and I got the same results. However, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has encountered this thing. I can't help but feel a bit antsy at this point; I've never had this mysterious a tracking development with UPS. It's like the iPad is traveling incognito.

Hi,

I went to follow the instructions you gave and looked at the apple page - I now have NEW tracking number and UPS has it's details! Yippee!

Thanks anyway!

That's interesting--I just now went to the Apple Store and re-entered my Apple order and nothing has changed.

Could mine have a new tracking number without being informed yet? If ever?

Okay, I somehow found a UPS page that indicates that my iPad is approaching Louisville, KY! Still has same tracking #. At least there's some progress.

:D
