Does anyone have any experience doing this? Just finally got charged and want it asap. I work 11 hours shifts on Saturdays so I'd like to be able to pick it up before work tomorrow.

Not sure if they require a delivery attempt first. Might want to contact the UPS station that is delivering it.

Works great but you will need to either call UPS or use their website or app to initiate the pickup before it gets placed on the truck for delivery. You will need to also check to see if your local UPS station will be open on Saturday.

This time around I didn't get the option to hold for pickup for some reason. I'm thinking maybe because it was 1 day delivery.

I read this as: if your package is scheduled to be delivered on Saturday you can't pick it up.

Saturday deliveries also aren't available in all areas. In many cases, UPS charges the customer (Apple) more to deliver on Saturdays.

This would explain why all of the dates around the launch, none were reported on the 25th/26th.

So you read this as if my package it's scheduled for Monday delivery, I should be able to pick it up Saturday morning, but if it's scheduled for Saturday, I won't?

I did it with my new Macbook Pro, had it held at the UPS store down the road so I could pick it up a day early. Very fast once the single worker (poor girl, that's a terrible burden to put on someone) worked through the line in front of me.

I chatted with Apple Support and confirmed there is no UPS delivery of watches on Saturday.

I just looked online at the UPS CC (Customer Center) where I had my watches held and picked up, and their will call (hold for pickups) is closed on Saturday, so I assume most are this way. Maybe UPS Stores are different, but from what I've read, pickup from the UPS Store causes a day delay.
