UPS - MacBook Air CTO - Delivery Route to UK!

I've ordered my MBA CTO 13" Core i7 Last Wednesday via the UK online store. It's sheduled for delivery this Friday 29th to me in the UK. What puzzles me (and humours me) is the route that it is taking to get here!

Not only is my 13" Core i7 taking the very same route, it's part of the exact same shipment (the dates and time stamps match)!

I feel a little uneasy now, knowing that Borat may be handling my MBA right at this moment... :D
 
For me 2.... they said it should be in Luxembourg (where I am) on friday - I believe it will come only monday - but let's hope

You should all think yourself lucky. I ordered mine on day of the announcement and was shipped on the 23th but still don't have a tracking number. I just have the standard text:
"In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly." :(
 
yep... I'm sure our mbair must have met during the trip ;-)
their carbon foot print are higher than mine during a one life time ;-)

I am awaiting mine also on friday 29th - according to UPS.
Apple states the 28th....

But history is almost the same!

Glad I'm not the only one who's confused!! I thought when the shipment had reached Germany, at least it had left the far east and was now in Europe and would be in the UK soon!

Our MBA's are probably discussing what SSD and screen they each have :D
 
Great, now Borat is walking around with our stuff :D

It seems like a pretty big shipment, a lot of people have the same information, me as well. By now I think I broke my F5 key. At the office I am useless because I'm more busy with the tracking site then other things.

To be a little bit optimistic: Friday delivery is still possible, but time is running out. If a plane leaves Kazakhstan and goes to Cologne today and from there to UK and other countries it is possible to have it out for delivery on friday.

But I am afraid it's going to be at least monday... So I guess no Air this weekend for us....:(

with some luxk should arrive tonight in Cologne in Germany and they dispatched to europe.
So friday if not delay might be feasable
 
Some of you have the Germany trip to factor in as well!! Hoping for delivery tomorrow in the UK but it seems to have stalled in Germany for some reason!

Smokedog - go to the expeditors tracking page and input your reference number beginning with 8

Good lord, what a trip those Airs are having.
mine, ordered from Apple France, started in Holland, went to Belgium and then here to France.

Stalled in Germany? Wasn't there too long was it? just about 2,5 hours. By now it should be moving again? Or at least I hope for you and for us as well. We seem to be on the same schedule. The times are more or less te same. So about 18.00 I hope to be in Poland and later tonight to be in Koeln.

Could this be one plane which goes from Asia to West Europe and has a few stopovers? and each stop is being scanned? As far as I know Koeln is a main sorting centre, from there it goes to other European countries after customs cleared the shipment.

Believe it or not, this is pretty much the standard route. All my CTO Apple stuff has been delivered this way.

It was in Germany this morning at 1.12am and is still there - I make it over about 15-hours now!
 
since yesterday 2 AM in cologne...
hopefully will reach luxembourg by tomorrow night.
however UPs says: Scheduled Delivery: Saturday, 07/30/2011, By End of Day
and I am not here this we..... too bad

By now it should be moving again. You don't have an estimate anymore? For me it started with this friday, but after the asian tour it was removed. Yesterday it came via Kazakhstan and Poland to Germany.

Right now I am at the same status as you are/were. I surely hope it's leaving soon again. Would like to get it before the weekend....

Luxembourg is not that far away from Köln, you can't arrange to pick it up there? If you call today the might be able to hold it. Sometimes this is possible...

true, however I am not geek enough to do a 400km return just for the mba ;-) It will come to me hopefully by tomorrow or worst case scenario Monday...
 
My MBA i7 left Germany last night, was in Castle Donnington UK in the middle of the night and then this morning it made a short hop over the pond to N.Ireland. It's out for delivery today :D

well~ at least you guys can track the item. I even can not see any info about the parcel but stupid few word "shipped", no courier info, no tracking number~~ It's been like this for one week already~ so frustrating~:(

on my side still in germany at the same place than you....
I hope they are going to ship it to delivery tomorrow...
