Sooo.. I’ve gotten my phones in a variety of ways. Usually I camp out. I’ve done in store pickups at apple retail stores.. etc.. Last year. I did the UPS myChoice In store pickup...I know that you have to be careful and not choose a normal location to pickup your items. If you do, it will delay it a day “usually”.. the way around this is to make sure you pick up from a customer care center...
For some reason.. this year.. its not even bringing up the customer care centers in my area as a choice to pick it up.. Is anyone else having that issue?
 
Every year when I do a request a hold for pick up, I never had any issues with UPC CC and I had the option to choose. This year is no different than previous. But I've read some are having issues. Otherwise you can also contact UPS customer service and see if you can have them request it internally?

Yep I had the same issue just got off a Chat with UPS and now its being held at the delivery Depot. Flaw in the My Choice stuff.
 
I’ve only got the option to choose the local UPS Stores and not the Customer Center...
 
Just curious are you guys doing this on your UPS App? Have you guys tried on the actual UPS.com the web browser?
 
Another thread says people trying to hold at their local CC are getting that they can’t kick them up until Monday. I haven’t done it in years but used to have no problem holding it and picking up bright an early Friday morning. Good luck!
 
I’m having the same issue. The only options are UPS Stores in My Choice. Emailing customer service did not help. They told me to wait until it gets to the destination scan. Apparently, I will be able to magically contact them at 3AM before it gets loaded onto a truck at 7 AM.

Sigh. I’ll call them tomorrow.
 
That’s how mine is. I called UPS international to make sure I’ll be getting mine on Friday at the UPS store. They said I will.

I would call another rep from UPS. I never have any luck at a UPS store as it takes an extra day for packages I rather have hold than delivered. If you can pick up from your local UPS hub, do that instead.

You need to call UPS and ask to hold for pick up at the UPS HUB not the UPS store. I’ve done this ever every year since 3GS came out.

Pick up for ups store will delay it. Ask which hub it’s going to be routed before delivery at home. They will tell you which hub it’s going.

@BeeGood Choose the Feedback popup. I typed REPRESENTATIVE it asked me a question then I typed REPRESENTATIVE and bingo it put me in a queue.

Thanks for the reply! It might be because I’m on mobile, but I don’t get a feedback pop up. I do see a little “button” for a virtual assistant so I tried that but she just kept asking the same question over and over again. 😂

I got it all set up earlier today by calling, but its good to know there’s a chat feature somewhere on the site for future references.
 
I used to do UPS pick up at the hub and did notice now that it doesn't show up on the map now like it did before...but I figured out that you just need to change your location near for the hub to popup and just type in the address of the hub and it should show up.

Although, it said that my pickup would be available the next Monday. Does that sound right? Can I ignore that and still pickup on Friday morning?

That doesn't sound right if your expected delivery date is Friday. Make sure you select the customer service UPS hub. The UPS center before packages load up on delivery trucks.

It was the correct hub ( aka Customer Center). I canceled the pickup, coz I didn't want to spend the weekend kicking myself.
 
Ya for some reason why I try to choose the customer service center ups the option is grayed out. irritating.
 
If I switched to the UPS store that is a mile from my house it said it would delay till Monday, so I called UPS. They were awesome. They did confirm that switching would delay it, but they did give me the option (which I didn't have online) of keeping it at the customer care center and picking it up after 8:30. I even got a call from that location letting me know the package isn't there yet but would be picked up early morning and available when the open. Didn't expect that level of service.
