UPS out for delivery since 8 am?

I'm pretty sure they stay out until 7-8pm.

Just be patient. UPS is swamped with iPhones to deliver today, so I would expect it to arrive later in the day.

I'm pretty sure they stay out until 7-8pm.

They stay out until all deliveries are completed. I once got a package after 9PM. The most aggravating thing is when you look at the tracking and it says "NO ONE WAS AT THE HOME OR BUSINESS" when you were sitting at the front door all day waiting. That's how the driver gets away without making a delivery when he has a dinner date,

My 4S came at about 7:30pm (UPS). So yeah, relax and be prepared to wait a bit. Drinking helps. I have an Anchor Steam cracked right now along with chips and guac.

They stay out longer than that! I live only a couple of miles from a main UPS hub in DFW. Annoyingly, rather than getting my UPS deliveries first thing in the morning when the drivers head out, I get them last thing when the drivers are heading back to the hub.

This means I routinely get 9-10 PM UPS deliveries. It's really annoying.

Also, to address this thread in general - in my experience "out for delivery" simply means it's been loaded onto the truck that morning and will be delivered at some point during that day. That status definitely does not mean they're literally on their way to deliver your package.

If UPS is giving you a 19 delivery date then it will arrive today at your home

The out for delivery time is the on the truck time. When the truck left the facility is different.

My phone just arrived after having been placed on the truck at 701AM ET

I got my iPhone 5 close to 9pm and my 5s just before 8pm and those were both months after the launch.

You'll get it, just be patient. And I know that's difficult, trust me I know. UPS is busy today and it does depend on where you live.
