UPS shows watch to be delivered tomorrow but order status still preparing to ship

Well, Apple is probably too busy to refresh their server due to all the 8 years old calling support to get their order status. :roll eyes:
Me too, San Francisco. I think they can take their time to ship to Californians since the devices are shipping from Rialto CA. At least I hope so! Are you in California too?
Took about 4 hours for Apple to update status after I received the UPS email. And I was in the group scheduled for 5/13-5/27 delivery.

Mine showed in Rialto, Ca too. I changed the pickup to my local UPS customer service center in Cerritos, Ca for tomorrow. UPS tracking number now shows it as a Customer Pickup at Cerritos tomorrow at 8:00 AM.
I'm in California and ordered a 42mm White Sport with a 4/5-5/8 delivery.
I just got a MyChoice notification last night. The status on the Apple orders page didn't update until this morning. I also just received my "shipped" email from Apple.

Mine took 10 hours for Apple to update and put my Watch on my profile from when I got my tracking number thanks to Track by Reference. My Tracking number hasn't had any movement, still says 'Order Processed, Ready for UPS". If it's shipping from Rialto though that's not a huge problem. Rialto is like 10-15 miles up the freeway from me.
Lucky! My local customer pick up center doesn't open till 11 AM.
Just as long as it comes anytime tomorrow. I want to get back to sleeping.
Yeah, I'm not sweating it. Both of ours are probably sitting on the same pallet at the airport waiting to be scanned and sent while we sleep tonight.
In past launches of iPhones, I'd get the shipping notification at 6PM the day before.

called apple, a girl said if we have a ups label saying it will be delivered tomorrow, it will be delivered tomorrow,
and there is not tracking from apple yet maybe because it's being overnighted to us (sound reasonable for california)
How can you guys tell where it is shipping from? I have a myUPS account and it says a label has been created and is to delivered tomorrow, but does not say from where.

Yeah, Sacramento, CA here. Looks like this issue is infecting lots of people in California. Hopefully Apple tells us it shipped soon.
I'm now wondering how many in california, especially north cal, have got their watch actually moving?

sac here too. i think it makes sense, since the watches are already in california, there is no need to ship it out early, get there on thursday and have a bunch of people calling to see if it can be picked up early. and if it's overnighted, there's still plenty of time to scan it and load it on trucks.

. I think I am infected with some sort of mass hysteria. Maybe it's because I was one of those who got a UPS notification a few days ago (Rialto) and had it voided. On the other side of the county (east coasters) for people getting watches from the Harrisburg hub, next day air last call pick-up is at 6:15pm.. so you watch still has 3 hours to get from wherever it is now, to PA and then it can magically appear on your doorstep!
