My PowerBeats3 are dead now, due to the left ear hook completely detaching from the earpiece (the wire separated too). Of course they're out of warranty. So I have to look at getting a new pair of headphones.
My main uses are for when I'm working out (outdoor walking and indoor cross-training) to listen to music or podcasts, as well as every day listening and phone calls. Something that can pair to my Apple Watch would be nice but is not a 100% necessity.
My budget hovers around $75 on sale, max $100 on sale.
Based on my uses and given the price qualifiers, would the UrBeats3 or the BeatsX make more sense?
Does the W2 chip actually do anything super special besides seamless changing between iPhone and Apple Watch? For the money, is it worth considering other brands of headphones, whether lighting or wireless?
