I have an iPod Classic (160 GB), running Lion, and iTunes 10.5b4. However, when I try to sync my iPod nothing happens. Just flashes the progress bar like it's starting to sync for a split second, then goes back to "Sync Complete, Safe to Eject iPod." Now I'm stuck with an empty iPod and a few long drives tomorrow. Has anyone else had any issues syncing devices with this beta version of iTunes? If so, how can I make this work? And if not, is there a way to roll back to iTunes 10.4 without having to rebuild my entire library (would like to be able to preserve play counts and playlists)?

Thank you so much!

PS. Yes, I know... I shouldn't be messing with beta software....

Try restoring the iPod. If not the only option seems to be a downgrade of iTunes. Why did you decide to install the iTunes beta, the only reason to install the iTunes beta is if you use an iDevice on iOS5.
