Ok, here's the deal. I'm going out of town tonight, and I need this to be done asap. I have a 160 gb hard drive that I used in my Macbook, and now I have it as an external drive. I just got my new Macbook Pro, which has a 100 gb hard drive.

I loaded up Carbon Copy Cloner, and tried to get the external drive to clone to my new 100 gb hard drive on my MBP. Now, I only have about 50 gb used on the 160 gb, so it should fit just fine in my empty 100 gb hard drive. Yet, when I try to set my Macbook drive as the source, it will not allow me to use my MBP hard drive as the target. I assume this may be because the external hard drive is 160 gb and my MBP is 100 gb?

Does anyone know any way around this, or what I can do to try to clone the drive? Please, I really need your help, I need this done very soon! Thanks guys!
