It's not a house, it's a home.
Hi,

I had to install Securexam onto my girlfriends Mac for school. It's a program that is basically designed to overtake your computer when writing exams. They said it was Snow Leopard compatible fyi...

Anyways, whenever I turn on the computer (force restart, force quit, etc etc) I just get the spinning wheel with the software logo continously...I can't get activity monitor up...It's totally stuck.

Is there a way to uninstall this program in some other way...maybe at startup - holding down a button or something?

Please help!!!

Anything would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!!!

This should still work with 10.6: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455

So basically hold shift during boot. Hold this during login as well. This should stop all third party apps from loading. Then once it boots up you can remove the app.

Thanks a lot. You're a life saver. And to the poster above, I obviously tried that. If you read my post you would have seen that everything was frozen so I couldn't uninstall.

No problem. Yeah some people around here don't really bother reading the whole posts.... :(
