Urgent Help Needed Again

I have already posted asking for help but got no real response-

I try to launch an app but all it does is bounce once and then stops, no error message, nothing

I have a paper due on monday I NEED A ANSWER SOON

What app is it? Does it run under Rosetta?

Edit: Have you restarted since the problem happened?

It seems the most popular recommendations would be to Restart you Mac, if that doesn't works, Repair Permissions.

If is only an specific app, try re-installing it.

Once the app stops bouncing does it appear with a black triangle below it in the dock?

Could it be open but has fallen off the screen? I ask 'cause this used to happen to me sometimes for no reason in MS Windows, never seen it in OSX.
