Urgent! How to connect 2 mbp without wires?

how do i connect 2 mbp's without wires and without any other hardware. all i got is 2 mbp 13 inches. if it is not possible, please say so....thanks!

you should be able to create an ad hoc wireless network between the two.

So i created a network, and joned both computers to it, but now how do i send data across, or even discover the other laptop for that matter, on this network? i dont even know who is on this network, and how to send stuff across etc.

Other AirPort-enabled computers within range can join the network you created by choosing it from their AirPort status icon, or by choosing it from the Network Name pop-up menu in the AirPort pane of Network preferences.

make sure file sharing is enabled via system preferences > sharing on both machines.
