I purchased a brand-new iPhone 16 Pro from iStyle, Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi on September 25, 2025.

Since setting it up on iOS 26.1 beta, the battery is draining extremely fast — losing 20–30% within a few hours on normal use and standby.

I’ve checked battery health (100%), reduced brightness, limited background apps, and restarted the phone, but the issue persists.

This seems serious and may affect other users, so I’m reporting it to raise awareness and hope Apple addresses it promptly.

You are running a beta. Not only that, but its Beta 1 of 26.1. Additionally, Apple is not monitoring this forum. If you are familiar with running betas, you should be familiar with the Feedback app to report the issue directly to Apple. Finally, you gave no context on to your usage or provided screenshots of your battery usage for anyone to be able to help you.

Again, you provide no context for us to help you. Did you set the phone up as new? Device to device transfer? Backup? Did you use the device at all before installing the beta? What is your SOT vs. Standby. Etc. If you did a restore from backup, it usually takes a week to settle down. Immediately installing the beta was probably not the best idea because you have no way of knowing if its a beta problem or a random app draining your battery.

I did all of things transfer data device to device turn off background refresh ofcourse I search before i post here. why is like you attacking me.

They’re not attacking you, they’re asking questions about your set up which are relevant to people being able to help you.

They also questioned your reasoning behind installing the first release of a beta firmware on what is assumed to be your primary device.

Either try and roll back to an official release of firmware, or wait until the RC is released for 26.1 and then monitor your battery usage.

It’s not unusual for an early firmware to batter your battery, especially if it is a new device as your phone is trying to do a huge amount of work in the background.

I only did that because my iphone 13 pro is on beta that's why I need to beta my iphone16pro so i can transfer my file easily.
Okay, but if you have beta experience, you should know that bait headlines like "Urgent" and statements that this "seems serious" are going to be a little triggering for folks on these forums. If you just need a place to rant, you found it, but masking it as a public service announcement is not warranted. And if you want the software to get better, no ranting here will help--submit feedback to Apple through their app.

You purchased a phone less than 5 days ago and installed a beta of an unoptimized software and started acting like the world’s ending because it’s losing 20-30% in a few hours? And on top of that you’ve given zero info on what you’re using in for providing no of the battery stats that would’ve helped figure out the issue. Now you feel like everyone’s attacking you because no one’s blindly conforming to your personal observations.

Here’s a way you might get help.

Stop sensationalizing things like a tabloid writer and acting like you’re the mother Theresa of iPhone users. Provide more info if you need help. But if you don’t, quit putting “Urgent” in titles and stop wasting other people’s time.

Since setting it up on iOS 26.1 beta

The culprit is found in your OP. Beta versions of the OS always carry the risk of increased battery usage. It's not a guarantee that it'll happen when running a beta, but it's not uncommon.
