Hey guys, im looking for a good reliable underwater case for my iphone 4 which i can go snorkel with. Im trying to get one quickly and buying an underwater camera and a case would be a waste since i already have an iphone 4.
Please any suggestions welcomed. So far i know joy rainbullet, lifeproof for iphone4.

I surf and I have one of the LifeProof cases, they are a little pricey I guess but I surf most days of the week weather permitting so it's worth it...

I figure you're American so here is a link...

Hope it helps.

HAHA! Oops sorry.

I just full steam ahead link you after I read the title of your thread...

Well...

In my opinion... I find it better

In my defence...

It's 3:31 am :D

forgot to include
* most of the cases do not state the depth of which could be taken. Im looking for something reliable to be taken 15-10ft underwater.

how deep have u taken it if u dont mind me asking?

Well it only goes under when I go under and I probably don't normally get dunked more than about 1.8 metres... However the website states all the stats on how deep it's protective until...

I think You will be hard pressed finding one for 10-15ft depth

"Full Waterproof IP-68 Protection
The LifeProof™ case has a unique design that makes it waterproof to a rated depth of 2 Meters (6.6ft) exceeding IP-68, the highest 'International Protection' rating. No other pocketable everyday case provides submersible protection."

sounds very desirable, but time is not an option. im going to cancun in few days, going to snorkel with whale sharks and decided not to buy an underwater cam and such. i doubt i can find this case in NYC... maybe someone can point me to right direction.

ps, i overestimated the 10-15ft part, since 6'6 is about my height im going to say the most of 10 feet. we all know how phone companies dont cover water damage :(:(

Yeah! You could have one in pink just like me!

Haha.

Ohhh, bummer, sorry to hear that, well even if you can't find a case maybe just buy one of those kodak underwater cameras just so you can take some pictures and if you lose it or whatever it's only a throwaway...?

pink case buddies !!!:D

looked into the underwater disposables, they are *****... completely useless unless they are digital, and the digital ones run at least 80$+ so its kinda of a waste. im looking into DryCase bag thing for iphone, which actually is not a bad alternative for the price. thanks alot DFD, i might get lifeproof later on when its not on preorder. ;)

Submersible to 15ft/5m

The Aquaclip® sealing system used on this Aquapac has been independently tested by the world-famous Engineering Research Centre at Imperial College, London. It's guaranteed waterproof to the international standard IPX8, which is as waterproof as you can get. It means that if you really want to you can hold it 15ft/5m underwater for half an hour safe in the knowledge that the stuff inside will stay completely safe and dry.

bought the DryCase bag thing for the iphone. Tested it out overnight and stuff. Found that there are no problems with water leaking but there is humidity condensation in the bag which is miniscule but still there. Since the outside water i used was cold (just like an ocean/sea water), humidity inside the bag condesated. Figured a packet of silica gel would remove that.

although it was 40$, it does seem a bit cheap feeling for that price. Anyone tried swimming with a LifeProof or Xgearlive cases for iphone4?

to add on, i was looking at the iDry case which is pretty popular among utubers. Has anyone tried any of those, and do any of those cases actually have some sort of backed up research on diving with iphones?
