URGENT iPhoto messed up all my library

So suddenly I got this iPhoto dialog box that told me that my library has some inconsistencies and that it needs to be repaired.


After "repairing" itself, I noticed that all of my photos are out of the events and that now, I have events made of just 2 or 3 photos.. WTTF?

No...that's the worst part. Since I've upgraded to an SSD, I keep my iPhoto library on my external HDD and that doesn't back up with Time Machine.

Well the good news is it appears your images are there, just not in the organization you want - unless I misread your post.

Bummers on the backup

I'd highly recommend you get another external drive to clone/back up your current external drive.

You can set TM to backup an external drive.
