I've attached a video (hopefully it will show)

Was working fine. A friend was on it and I locked it on 'find my iphone'

Sometimes when I start it, it asks for the code and I type it in..

But this keeps happening :/

It's saying something like 'OS X Mavericks installation failed', I attempted NO reinstalls though ..

Please help!

UPDATE

Booted from WEB RECOVERY - onboard recovery partition wasn't doing any different..

Booted, entered my lock code.. took me to the logon screen like nothing happened..

I think this is a Mavericks glitch for the Air.

It could really screw some people over in their moment of need / with no internet connection.

If anyone else has this issue let's share it and get it recognised to be fixed!

I had this same problem and turned to Apple for help. You can see the thread here

The best advice I can give you is to call Apple, they will go through a series of troubleshooting steps with you, and then they might tell you what they told me; that you'll have to do a complete reinstall of the system.

Nobody on here helped me haha, when all else fails turn to Apple:apple:
