Try support.apple.com, many of the older OSes are available there to download. Alternativly, I actually have a copy of OS 8 sitting at home.

If you've got the disc, the SheepShaver FAQ tells you how to get the ROMs. If you don't have the disc, contact Apple or try eBay.

If you're asking for illegal downloads of Mac operating systems, you won't get very far here.

Is there a way to update my Mac os 8.0 CD to 8.5 or 8.6?
(I got everything else working)

If you're using a PowerPC Mac it's quite easy to get. Download the ROM Update for an iMac G3 from support.apple.com. You should be able to find a freeware tool that can open the package and get the ROM file, but I'll be very surprised if you find a tool of that type that runs in anything other than Classic (hence the need for PowerPC).

Otherwise not too sure how you'll get it.

I got everything working on my intel iMac thanks to my little brother!

Yeah sheepshaver was for 8.5 and up so I had to go with basilisk II.

I didn't need it that bad, it was just to get your attention. :)
